Manuscript, in several hands, recording receipts for rent paid by Richard St. George for a property belonging to St. Bartholomew's Hospital in Cow Lane and Green Dragon Court, in the ward of Farringdon Without, from 1601 to 1614, along with receipts for rent of a house in Holborn, from 1609 to 1614. Also present are notes of payments to Oliver St. John, from 1601 to 1604, along with two receipts for tithes, laid in.

Richard St. George, herald, graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge, in 1569. He was admitted to the College of Arms in 1602, appointed Norroy King of Arms in 1607, knighted in 1616, admitted to Gray's Inn in 1618, and created Garter in 1633.
